Photoshop Contest: Animal Mash-up

People have been mixing species via Photoshop since its early existence! It's one of those classic Photoshop contests from the mid-2000s.

Let's keep this almost cliche type of photoshopping alive! Both software and hardware have evolved drastically over the years, and the possibilities of mixing species, are endless.

Your goal is to mix two or more species of animal into 1. This is your chance to play God and craft your own ultimate animal! What are its strengths? Weaknesses? How does it survive? Where does it live? Write a little story around your creation if you wish. At a minimum, think of a great name for your species. It's your creation, you can name it!
