A Crabby Reptifowline. They are a rare species found on beaches when the tide is coming in around sunset. You need to be in the right place at the right time to see them, otherwise you will never know they exist. They are extremely shy and very crabby. What a strange creature! difficult to imagine its size, how big would a human be near it? Looks grumpy, if it is really large I'd not feel safe if I saw one. Do they live in Australia?
They come in various sizes but I have never come across one larger than a person. Mostly they are about the size of a large duck. Maybe because they have duck genes. You can tell by the webbed feet. They are not known to be native to any country because they are so rare but they have been spotted on a few of the uninhabited islands on Earth, mainly by explorers who have made it their profession to find unusual creatures. The average person would most likely never see one unless they went on a special trip with a professional explorer. ;-)
Hahaha.... Crabby Reptifowline has not won any titles yet. It's her first appearance any place. She doesn't generally show her face. ;-) Thanks for your comment, Ray.
Says the King who always gives me a run for my money. :-) It's good to see you again.
The beauty of this side of Grepless is that I find myself totally absorbed not only by the images but am dazzled by the imagination shown by the artists, their savviness of working photoshop chops, their sense of humour. This crabby Reptifowline is so realistic that we begin to believe that it does inhabit the beaches in and around Cairns and other areas of Australia. The personality of crabbiness/craziness comes through yet a part of us are endeared by the web feet, the visual bluster, the realistic background all blending together to cause the viewer to pause and study this image from all angles. It is beautifully done Skyangel, your work ROCKS.
wow you actually won again! damn you're good. looking foreward to your next. very creative
My favorite part is odd. I really liked the mouth! It was a sideways croc mouth, but you made it looking like it was a forward mouth.
I just liked the crazy looking teeth and figured it looks OK and unusual as a forward mouth. Glad you like it. I experimented with a few different shaped mouths before I settled on that one.
I knew this would end up in the top 3, this strange terrifying creature!
