Same as the "Cartoon People" contest too!! https://grepless.com/c/photoshop/photoshop-contest-cartoon-people
I wonder if this site gives the higher placing to the person who submits first. Or maybe there are actually decimal points in our scores and it takes those into consideration.
The subtle bending of a branch on the mid mangroves to make it blend as well as the removal of the leaves and small branches on the right mangrove are boss moves.
In some countries they took away those options in a regular Google Image Search. Try Google "Advanced Image Search". You have a lot more options to use. I would look at all the options when you use it.
I will do just that! Thanks! Do I have to vote before time runs out (contest closes) or does voting start once is is closed? Sorry for these newbie questions...
You're welcome and welcome to the club 😊. Always glad to help. The timer is the deadline to submit your images. To tell you the truth, I am not sure how long the voting lasts after that. A "few days" is a ball park estimate haha. I tend to vote after the submission timer ends. Some of the artists will edit their images and to me it's best to wait for their final version. If you ever want to edit your image, I made a video today on how to do it if you are interested (it may take a few secs to load). https://mega.nz/file/NbJ3UaiA#4_3jnO0JiaW8rZZ-6BdsRFFRxdiOO-A2aYU2YahVePY
Look at the other contests here and see how people are voting. Compare that to the one you are used to and vote accordingly. IMO the voting here is very generous. Some other sites I find it ridiculously low, and almost insulting at times. https://grepless.com/contests
I made a tutorial showing you how I edit entries. Hope this helps. It may take 30 seconds or so to load the video. You can pass this around if you ever see someone saying they don't know how to edit entries. Use this whole URL. https://mega.nz/file/NbJ3UaiA#4_3jnO0JiaW8rZZ-6BdsRFFRxdiOO-A2aYU2YahVePY

I happen to catch this before the edit and @Skyangel 's suggestion. The new bowl is way better and much more in perspective. Good work.
Pretend that I Photoshopped two hands with all thumbs. :D
I learn a bit about the world when I see these images. I have seen those elves before and I think they are called "Imps". Is that right?
OK....I will pay extra attention to colours and depth for next attempt. Thank you for your in-depth critique, it is exactly what I'm looking for....stay tuned for next photochop project! It is sort of fun to let the imagination go wild.
This is amazing!! I was instantly drawn in and my eyes were wandering around this mystical land. Dinosaur caught a big fish, but YIKES!!! There is a predator awaiting in the shadows. Will it attack? Will there be a battle? Who will win? I must know!! The Terrasaurs flying around pull you right in to this marvelous scene. It is so deep and I have to know what is beyond the trees!! I'm glued to my seat awaiting part 2. :D
Excellent advice!! Author listen to Skyangel! she is wise.
Hello author. Nice image. Good luck with your Photoshop career. The key to Photoshop is curiosity, patience, perseverance, and your imagination. You will run into times where things seem impossible but you can get over these mountains and keep going. We have all been there. Photoshop is a wonderful tool, so let your imagination run wild.
I made a critique of your image. You have a good base but there is some fine tuning that could bring your work to another level. https://i.imgur.com/iZRSEG1.jpg
Best description ever. "Don't ask, how I did it. On the back of an effect, an effect." It's like "I got there but I don't know how." 😁 👍
