Yep, and I had to fire the shutter, (no pun intended), and get out of the way quick as sparks well raining down.
When the POV is changed the whole image changes and you certainly have knocked this out of the ball park...that point of view, which is not only different but dangerous to the photographer enhances your image. The colours of blue and yellow which compliment each other are clearly seen and add a nice vibrance and eye catch to this photograph. I would not have minded to see a bit more mask and less ceiling but that is strictly a subjective opinion. Congrats for not sustaining third degree burns to your camera and yourself!
Quote:- " I would not have minded to see a bit more mask and less ceiling...." Neither was I, but it was not exactly an ideal situation for contemplative composition with those sparks falling, or threaten to fall, onto the camera lens? :)
Love the colors and their balancing act in your pic.Crisp shot which displays some nice details.
Well done.
Thanks.
I did not crop away the ceiling because I wanted the smoke which gave it a certain atmosphere?
oh yea...the smoke is fine. I look at it as a transitional area from the very bright to the very dark. It like leads into it. I can see this as an art installation or a poster of some type. Again very nice work.
