How beautiful simple things can be....well pictured. You follow the KISS principle nicely on this one.
This image was made to symbolize the inevitable growth, decay and death of Nature. The long dead wood "embraces", "comforting" the dying leaf which was in an almost " fetal" position as if wanting to be born and grow again. Sad, but the leaf would become humus eventually and later on to nurture and be part of the new growth of another tree to come.
