Photo Contest: Rural panoramas

With our day to day lives filled with stress, work, and lots of tasks or goals to accomplish, we rarely find time to appreciate the beauty of nature. For some of us who have lived all their lives in cities which is filled with houses, cars, and noise, we rarely understand the beauty, tranquility and rewarding sights rural environments have to offer.

This contest is about the tranquility of rural scenery. Take a panorama photo of a rural scenery capturing the rich beauty the environment as to offer. We want to be sure it’s you doing this. Therefore, a picture of you in the scene will be an added advantage.

A maximum of 3 entries per user is allowed.

Please also include your camera model and the location of where the photo was taken. You can do so by clicking on 'Edit entry' and write this info below the line that links to your entry.

Not in the least! It's a phenomenal country for photography, in particular. The scenery changes dramatically about every 40-50 miles, so there's always something different up ahead. It's likely bigger than you think - we spent eight days on the Ring Road (about 800 miles) and I'd call that a "minimum" for a decent trip. One note - if you see a gas station, fill up. The next one is far away!

I had two friends that went there. One was fairly recently and she hated it simply for the "gimme you moneee" feel. My cousin went there too and he loved it, so went back again. I suppose perhaps some day we will venture forth......when and if COVID dies down.
