Barley, who is afraid of the camera.
I had gotten a new lens and I wanted to try it out when I got home with it. What better subject then her?
Shot with a Nikon D850 and Sigma 35mm
Patches has posed in her regal stance for you. A nice portrait of a loved pet sitting in the sunshine. See that white frame sitting on the left side of the margin of the photo? I feel you could have cropped in a tad tighter on both sides . The movement of the eye is caught by white and a bit of a tighter crop would do this portrait image justice. With all that white on the cat it would have been so easy to blow it out but you have good saturation, focus and tonal qualities in situ. The other way with which you could take the attention off the white furniture in the background is by vignetting it somewhat or using gradient. I like this photo for it catches that independent spirit of cats, they have their own mind. ....meow.... Thumbs up.
