So I've been sincerely considering having one of these wild animals as pet. Of course one I'd train from birth. I never really considered a mountain lion until I saw this video. Does anyone know if they can survive in any climate?

They can't survive indoors without developing some mental issues, and unless you have a couple of acres of fenced land to let them roam around, I would not recommend any wild animal of such size.
