Congratulations and corny girdle actions to you too. It seems we came equal first since we both have the same percentage. I knew this character would be in the top three.
Yes I did a happy dance. I was not expecting to win with all the great entries. I guess Mr Bean is a favourite for many people.
You might be right, I agree that many people and circumstances influence us throughout our lives. The idea of inheriting talents, might be all a fantasy but I guess I accept it because when I was young I was told that I inherited talents from my ancestors. We tend to believe what we are told when we are young. I have had no reason to question the idea. My grandfather was a talented musician and I learned to play guitar but my talent for music is very basic. My mother is very creative. She likes arts and crafts and can paint beautifully, spins her own wool, knits, crochets, makes greeting cards. She taught me a lot so in that way, even if I did not inherit artistic talents, I was greatly influenced by her.
I also think it depends on how much we enjoy doing something. We tend to gravitate toward the things we enjoy. At least I do.
If you come from a more practical family, I am sure you have many practical talents as well as artistic ones. How did you first get involved in photoshop manipulations? What provoked your interest?
Do you have any interest in writing poems or stories yourself ? I am sure you must have lots of stories to tell about things you have experienced through life.
Thank you for taking time to read and comment Zizounai. I think creativity is definitely hereditary. If its not, where do we all get it from? I think some people just inherit different traits and talents from their ancestors because we are not all talented in the same areas.
I just hope we eventually get a format editing option for our stories in this section because the poem did not end up looking the same as the way I submitted it. The photo should be on top and the lines of the poem should all be in poetry format with each line in a different row instead of flowing one after the other. It ended up all mixed up but I think Staaan is working to fix it.
For some reason it cut off some of my words.
I did it. It's not perfect. It's not totally smooth, but it works. This is a gif so the quality isnt so good. https://i.ibb.co/KjV4n31/zoom.gif Let it play once and then it should smooth out. Larger gifs can be a little jumpy on the first loop and then they smooth out once the whole thing plays.
Thanks for the info. I will look into that frame animation aspect of photoshop. It's something else that's new for me to learn.
Welcome. Your charicature is well done. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
Absolutely brilliant. I LOVE it and the animation which shows how you did it is also fantastic. 🏆💖
I agree with you about the "excitment of the moment" getting the better of us but personally I never think about any fibonacci sequence when I take photos. I do think about the rule of thirds and keeping horizons straight on landscapes but that's about it when it comes to composition. As for getting it right the first time, That's easier said than done, especially when the "light" is not being very "cooperative" and you can't move the subject to a better location.
This is interesting. I posted this link because I thought it was very educational regarding composition rules of photography. The strange thing is that it says it was posted by someone called "Followme". Do all the posters names get randomly changed in this area to keep them anonymous so we don't know who actually posted what?
Anyway, Regarding the Fibonacci sequence or spiral, do any of you actually think about that when taking photos? How and when exactly do you use it other than photographing spiral staircases?
Thank you.
