I like the colorful eyes too but I like the brush version with the red paint on the brush.
I think you came up with a very creative unique character using a keyboard for a face, mice for feet and a hat, and the wacom pen in hand is familiar to all who own a wacom tablet and spend hours with that tool. Well done.
You made a lovely coat of arms with the grepless colors. I think this one would make a great mascot for a sports club. It makes me think of football and basketball.
The flood fill bucket has a very cute face and is easily recognizable as belonging to photoshop but the criteria specifially states no logo with the mascot and you have the PS logo on the mat under the bucket. Maybe you should remove that and leave the mat a plain color or just add a bucket shadow to the floor? It would be a shame to lose points due to the ps logo.
Thank you very much for commenting Olga. The memory is something we treasure. We had a lot of fun with both the sewing and the photography. My precious girl was laughing a lot when throwing all those scraps in the air and modeling for the photoshoot.
I was born in Germany and German was the first language I ever learned and spoke. I learned English when I was 5 years old and was translating English to German for my mother every time I had friends over and she would ask me what they said. I was only 6 years old at that time. When I was 12, I studied basic French at High school as well so I think I could manage a very basic childish conversation in French. I can remember learning La Marsellaise and can still sing it as well as a few other songs in French .. Allouete, Sur le pont, d'Avignon, Au clair de la lune, Frere Jacques, are a few I can remember. It's amazing how a language can stay with you when you learn to sing it, even when you never speak it.
You most likely have practical talents that you don't even realize you have because you take them for granted.
I am sure you can cook for example. That is a very practical talent. Some people can't even boil an egg.
Knitting is also a practical talent as well as a creative one because you can make warm clothes which are very practical and necessary in cold winters. Speaking more than one language is also a very practical talent because it extends your communication abilities and even causes you to help others communicate and understand each other when you translate for them.
English is not my "mother tongue" either but I now speak it better than I do my first learned language simply because I need to use it every day. Please don't hesitate to write stories or poems in English just because it's not your mother tongue. From the communication you and I have had over the years, your English is excellent in my opinion. I think you could also write in French and no one would mind. We can all use Google translators after all which can be a lot of fun and even make us all laugh at times.
Congratulations on third Cosmix but it's really second place since the top two are equal first according to the percentages. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
