Thank you for this unusual version, with the Amen fugue. Mozart did not have time to complete his requiem. Was this part from his student Franz Xaver Süssmayr? We can listen to the lacrymosa as well (and many more of Mozart's work) in Amadeus, the wonderful Milos Forman movie.

Mozart CRIED (Lacrimosa) after eight notes from this LACRIMOSA, because he knew these were the LAST notes he wrote in his LIFE.
He DIED soon after, and his WIFE asked some Mozart's students to complete this famous REQUIEM, because she needed the Requiem commission MONEY to pay off her DEBTS!
