Yes , you should be proud of your entry . I remember when i submitted my first ever entry . It was a huge step. And YES ! this is WOW . Keep up the great work . Hi Author. I like your creation.. If i may give a tip : if you look closely at your image there are a few little black lines on the shirt and a bit of "left overs" around the hair , just in front of the face..
To clean up your image there are two options : 1: add a layer mask and while painting on the layer mask touch up a little with black. it will remove them cleanly and can be redone without destroying your works. 2: take an eraser to those marks but be careful once removed , what ever mistake you make can not be brought back. I would personally use the masking and a soft brush set at 100 % opacity .
This is a lovely creation , it is the attention to those little left over bits that will bring your works into a more polished finish.
you have picked the perfect parts to characterise. The teeth and ears really bring a wonderful aspect to this image. It may seem strange but i really like the little grey highlights in the hair it brings a balance of the real person with the characterisation .
the features i like about this image is the colour usage and balance, along with the facial expressions. You have maintained the light in the eyes which give great character to the image . well done.
