I liked this shot. It not that the fog is the central object, but it helps us to focus on the rest of the picture. The house, street, fence, grass area..all those lines lead me to the fog. I guess you can look at it as just the house ,and that would work, or just the fog and how it shadows in an eeriness and that would work. I think there is a lot going on here and you've done a very good job of displaying it. :)
I can point you to the first clue that might help you unravel it. But you have to do the work or you will miss the full impact of the piece.(Mentally and emotionally).
Start with Manifest Destiny..and work your way from there. :) What do you find?
Thank you and the same wish for you. "Here's to a bright 2021 New Year, and a fond farewell to the old; here's to the things that are yet to come, and to the memories that we hold." Please take care of yourself.
I commented on this earlier but I guess it never got saved.
I thought this was a great shot. I love the composition, well balanced. The shot immediately wants to engulf you in the middle of the trees. I can squint mt eyes some and can imagine them looking down at me. The picture also displays or points to a professional behind the lens. Same quality of work as the fish grouping shot from last contest, not just lucky shooting. :)
This photo reminds me of the winter nights in Philadelphia as a kid. Walking through the park feeling cold, scared lonely, but at the same time weirdly enjoying those times. I guess because I knew that I was eventually heading home and snuggled in a happier environment. I like all 3...great shots.
I actually like this shot a lot. It leaves you wanting to see who it is and what is farther down the track.Someone just walking out of the fog..did you know this person or did you just catch it when you were crossing the tracks?
Pretty cool.
Thanks..another backyard shot...in lockdown... trying to be creative..lol
Yea I live near the Glades so I have all kind of kritters passing through and living there. Always something going on to photograph .
Yes it is "You don’t take a photograph, you make it" Ansel Adams
Simple shot with great details and a lot to enjoy.
Nice shot..love the leading lines and the colors.
Another nice piece. I like the contrasting colors, the lighting, crisp shot, most of all...love the dirt on bottom of shoe..not just another pretty face..been around the block some and still has it's beauty.
Results from having a "herd mentality". lol
I love the composition, colors, and shapes. A very professional shot.
Me to. I was in the backyard just taking shots... trying to keep the trigger finger from getting rusty while in covid lockdown. :)
Very well put.. I knew I liked for some reason.
