Beautiful entry I like the watermarked dress touch. Nice shadow work. Something many forget or overlook which grounds the layers to the background.
One tool I'm using more than ever before to blend colour and tones of layers out of sync is Image > Adjustments > Filter in Adobe PS anyway and choose a colour swatch that matches the lighting. Many think I am very accomplished at Photoshop after 30 years but I might not use half the tools available. It's always a learning curve. Exciting when you discover new options.
I like this, well played :-)
Ha !!! This was my first idea but decided another road. So pleased to see the concept well done and happy I didn't attempt a second entry. :-)
Olga You don't have to join imgur to host an image if that's all you was to do on there, just choose the green box with a plus sign top left to add an image. Which opens a page to drag and drop your image. I choose the private option and copy the code to paste on here.
I've had a lot of joy with pngwing.com for source material unlicensed often with background removed. The download low res is free which I find adequate for what we do.
I also get more joy in google if I choose the subject I'm looking for lets say 'Sunset' but add wallpaper after it and I get less licensed images or watermarked. Always choose under the google images search bar the menu option 'SIZE' then 'LARGE' for higher resolution results.
Nice entry hidden too :-)
I'm a colourist at heart and also prefer this version.
Can't you just flip the file to achieve the lowercase 'g'.
My favourite, it covers so much in such a striking simple way. I have a weakness for being a colourist. Have you tested it against the blue header colour of the page.
Immediately made the connect with the axe. Great idea. Well done for approximating the blue background which it will sit against whichever one is chosen. I'm a little concerned as it scales down for the page if the blue footwear and paint on the brush will be somewhat lost against the background.
Very creative and convincing. My only concern is if as I understand the mascot will sit on the blue header between the words 'Grepless' and 'Photoshop' will it retain its detail. Have you tried seeing it against the blue backdrop.
More contrast might help but it's a great relative mascot.
Thank you Ziz for suggesting the page. It's got a lovely vibe. I am pleased to make top three.
