Was it really necessary to ease the restrictions? Maybe being a member of G20 Germany could have done something better. Whats your opinion?

Easing the restrictions would undo all the effort we did so far.

Just a few infected people can snowball the whole infection spread again

Because no-one will earn any money to pay for the food and other bills in coming months. Getting money by government is a nice thing, but even that kind of funding cannot last forever. Our local government realized they collected only 1/3 of the taxes in March 2020 compared to March 2019. And they still had to give away billions to shut down businesses/people only in March.

The U.S. really needs to follow the steps Germany has taken with respect to efficient, wide-spread testing and tracing. Bravo to Germany, I say! Well done.
