Thanks for the explanation, I would never have guessed on this song! it seems very pulled by the hair as we say in my foreign language ๐
Also, for the Photoshop contest, it would be nice to have a minimum of rules for everyone, like not using somebody else's art, showing all the source we used? please???
Hi Staaan, could we have more contests, like one every week in Photoshop and in Photography?
Ian Anderson, of course, Jethro Tull!!! (not too hard for me as I'm a big fan)
Let's dance. Zorba the Greek ๐ฟ
Merlin, how could we ask participants to show the pics used when there are no rules whatsoever???
Thank you Skyangel. You make me feel better ๐
Congrats Rubber-Ray, so goooood to see you back ๐
Yes, it makes me sad... Stealing other people's work seem more profitable sometimes...
Here is this wonderful song, interpreted with so much emotion by Mr Chicken
With all mixed up extracts from the movie:
This piece is called "Take Five" because it was written in an unusual 5/4 meter. It was one of the first Jazz songs with a time signature other than the standard 4/4 beat or 3/4 waltz time. Brubeck explained in a 1995 interview with Paul Zollo that he asked Desmond to try writing a song in 5/4.
Here is the original Dave Brubeck's recording.
