I really like the picture itself, but it seems that the bird has a bit of a glow, could you maybe use dehaze (possibly on Adobe Lightroom) to get rid of it and make it pop a little better?

The eye in the picture is very blurred, what if you upped the contrast a little bit to make it pop?
