I’m going to respectfully disagree with you and site Google earth’s depiction of the U.S.border. If the measuring tool is used it shows Horseshoe falls 680 feet in the U.S.A./New York and 1270 feet in Canada/Ontario. Josfitz is correct in that the Canadian side has a much better view and they have developed their side much better because of the view. I live about 5 hours drive from the falls and have been there many times but never tire of the view. Awsome is a much overused word nowadays but accurate when used to describe this special place.
