Scientists discover a new snake and name it after Salazar Slytherin

New generation of people grew up and now they have the authority to name things. Cultural roots are gone long time ago, classical works of literature are almost completely forgotten, so here we are with Harry Potter and similar pop-trash sources as an inspiration ??

I'm not entirely sure that pop culture is good inspiration for a scientific discovery!

I am amazed we are still discovering new species of animals. The biodiversity on this planet is astounding.
