Digitally Designed Fish created by Wayne-Cheah
The pattern on this fish looks like a maze where you start from the mouth and end at the tail?
Bitter Gourd created by Wayne-Cheah
Why would Nature design something ugly looking and bitter as well, and yet humans eat it ?
Tuna Crab created by MyMindsEye
Commonly called "red crabs" because of their orange to red color. Also have been referred to as "tuna crabs." There are 5 zoeal stages characterized by large eyes, a long serrated rostrum, and elongate postero-lateral carapace spines. It is not a true crab.

Flesh Spirals created by Wayne-Cheah
It didn't occur to me that the flesh of this fish, (a mackerel), has a spiral pattern.
Calabash Leaf created by LutfaRahman
Calabash leaves repeat the same pattern again and again. Each leaf is symmetric to the vertical axis or the midrib or the main vein.
I'm not a photographer by any means. But here is my first try, using Macro. Practice makes perfect so I heard
Macro photography is a challenge even for the best photographers. The following site might be very helpful to you when it comes to focusing on small objects. When you don't have a moving subject, you can take a series of shots with your camera on manual focus while you move closer to the subject and you will end up with different areas in focus so you could pick the best out of them or focus stack them for a greater DOF.

Welcome to the world of macro where the smallest of the smallest can be seen at the largest! Where little bugs come out looking like armored killers. You will have fun and I see you have a great photographer's eye to see the patterns of this cactus. You have kept the crop tight and filled the entire frame with pricks and have kept the colour natural! I like the diffused lighting you used. Look on the margin on the L (viewer's L) see that pop of background showing...you could have chopped that off to make for a cleaner photograph. Overall the photograph needs to be sharper ....sharp as a cacti prick! Do use your DMF or MF and don't be shy to step back from your subject as you are focusing....take many shots...you are in the digital age....rejoice!
So far I only know how to use Auto, and Zoom in with a lens. I wish I was more knowledgeable on how to use the camera. But I'm just a beginner.
Try using Digital Manual Focus....that is when the camera focuses for you but you have the ability to go in deeper and sharpen it....MF ......with Manual Focus the focusing is all up to you. Try it today....just set the camera on spot focus mode and then do some focusing manually.....it's fun. Enjoy the ride....we are all beginners by the way :-)

This wavy-shaped thing rises from the Calabash stem. It behaves exactly like springs.
