Well, we just had Chinese New Year, saying goodbye to the Year of the Pig, welcoming the Year of the Rat. My guess they intended some symbolism the rest of the world didn't get (except for me, as I am oh-so-clever).
China is full of mysteries some of which humanity will never come to understand.
